Urban Outfitters is at it again: The store’s scheme to corner the market on wearable goods for the modern hipster (and the hipster-ish) is getting a boost next month when Eek!, a range of hats and hairpieces by Eugenia Kim, debuts in Urban outlets nationwide. Shortly thereafter, L.A.-based jewelry designer Annie Costello Brown—a Style.com favorite—chimes in with her own Urban Outfitters line of statement necklaces called Clea. Kim and Costello Brown join Urban Outfitters’ expanding roster of accessory collaborations—Contributor by Rachel Comey and Colonial Madness by LD Tuttle are recent arrivals in the Urban Outfitters shoe department, to wit. Plus, for those who sometimes wonder whether they’re too old to shop at the college kid fave, a cheap-and-chic necklace or hat is much easier to pass off as luxe with a mostly designer look.
